Strawberry are luscious red berries with a sweet taste. The bright red colour is just irresesitible. It is called as the queen of fruits. Although, grow in cold climate, today it is available in all places. Thanks to the super markets which bring these fruits. With summer approaching soon,giving children a glass of strawberry milkshake is good for health and quite easy !

These fruits  are packed with nutrients. They are little angels which come to serve us good food. The benefits are so many that one can find no reason to avoid them. They are low in calorie and rich in fibre,hence can be had by one and all. Helps prevent cardio vascular diseases and type 2 diabetes.They help burn stored fat. They have anti ageing properties. It also prevents certain types of cancer. With so many reasons, can we really resist ourself of this wonder fruit 

Strawberry milkshake and ice cream are the favourite of my children.

INGREDIENTS :

  • strawberry  1 bowl
  • cold milk 1/2 litre
  • vanilla or strawberry ice cream 2 scoops
  • sugar 1-2 tsp

PROCEDURE :

Wash the berries. Cut them into halves. Blend all the ingredients together. Serve milkshake in glasses.

Take a note : Use strawberry within two or three days.
