Method
- Take milk in a thick bottom pan and boil for some time.
- Add sugar, give a stir and continue to boil for another ten minutes. The quantity should be reduced to three-fourth.
- Divide the milk equally in two pans.
- In one pan, add cocoa powder and mix well. Boil for five minutes. Remove and keep it aside to cool.
- In the other pan, add vanilla essence and nuts. Boil for five minutes and allow to cool.
To asemble the kulfi
- Take a kulfi mould and pour chocolate kulfi to half its volume. Sprinkle some chocolate powder and allow to set for one hour.
- Pour vanilla kulfi over it, sprinkle some grated chocolate and drizzle some syrup over it.
- Set in the freezer for three hours
Notes
Adding of syrup is optional, but it tasted great. The syrup was concentrated i n the middle of it.
