- Wash and peel the papaya. Cut into cubes, discard the seeds and white membrane.
- Blend the cubes to a puree.
- Take a pan and roast the rice flour. Keep it aside.
- Add a tablespoon of ghee to it, roast the cashew and almond until golden, remove them in a small bowl.In the same pan, add the papaya puree and let cook for ten minutes.
- Add milk and the rice flour, mix it well.Keep stirring, add sugar and mix well.Put some ghee and give a stir. The halwa is done once the ghee leaves the sides and forms a mass.Add cardamom and a pinch of salt.Finally, garnish with nuts.
