- ash quinoa twice or thrice in running water. The water should be clean and clear. Soak it in water.
- Wash urad dal and moong dal separately, put them together in the same bowl along with a few methi seeds. Soak for five to six hours.
- Grind them together to a smooth paste. Keep it aside for two hours.
- Add salt to the batter. Adjust the consistency, if it is very thick.
- Heat a skillet, take a ladle full of batter and pour it. Quickly, spread it into a thin crepe. Put a little oil over it. Let it cook for a minute.
- Once it is done, remove and serve with chutney and potato sabzi.
Notes
You may add ginger and green chilli to the batter.
A little cumin and coriander can be made into a paste and mixed in the batter.
