Method
- Take a bowl and mix all the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, take about 4 tablespoon of flour and mix water to it. Make batter of thin consistency. Keep it aside for ten minutes.
- Heat a skillet. Smear some oil, take a ladleful of batter and put it over the skilet. Hold the handle of the skillet in the left hand and tilt it around. Drizzle oil around it.
- Let cook on moderate flame.
- Once it is done, remove it and serve. Chutney and potato stir fry are optional, it tastes good by itself.
Notes
- The unused flour can be stored in the refrigerator for further use.
- You can add green chilli pieces, ginger and coriander to the batter. Put onion pieces after you spread the batter.
