Hariyanvi mixed dal is a tasty accompaniment with any meal. One can serve it with hot phulkas or parathas. Serve it with hot steamed rice and you have a soul food.

I recently joined Shhhhh Cooking Secretly Challenge Group on Facebook led by Mayuri Patel. Every month a particular regional cuisine is selected as the theme. Participants are in pairs and they give two secret ingredients to their partner, thus, it seems an interesting challenge here. The theme for this month is the Hariyanvi cuisine and my partner is Jagruti of Jagruti’s Cooking Odyssey  She has a huge variety of vegetarian dishes  on her blog, do check it.  She had given me mixed dal (tur, moong and masoor) and ghee. And here is my recipe, doesn’t that sound good?
