Papaya halwa makes a delectable sweet to serve for any occasion, it is tasty and healthy with the goodness of the wonder fruit in it.

The festival of Holi is round the corner and time for fun, isn’t it? Exams are early scheduled in India and kids will be free to play the festival of colours with enthusiasm. I have a couple of recipes of savoury which can be made during the festival. The methi mathri is tasty and stayed good for a long time. The Namakpare make an ideal snack to binge.

The festival of Holi brings back good memories when the whole town would enjoy playing colours. The music and beating of drums would start a week ahead. Gone are those days, but the spirit of festival is still alive, every little change is what we have thoughtfully decided  and collectively do. You can try this  Palkova

Papaya is one of fruits that many detest but the benefits of the same are ample. So I thought of sharing this sweet here, the taste of the fruit is barely noticeable.

The enzyme papain present in papaya aids in digestion by breaking down the proteins. It also helps against inflammation and promote healing of burns. It is a great source of Vitamin A, B, C and K. It acts as an immunity booster . It is great for the growth of body tissues. It is found to be good for diabetes too ( not as a sweet dish though)
