It’s been sometime I have put any milkshake recipe here. My recent creation is this Fab milkshake, a name which I have given to it. It has figs, banana and almonds in it, F is for fig, A for almond and B for banana, hence, the name.
Fab milkshake is nutritious with the goodness of both nuts and fruits. Bananas are healthy and studies reveal that they need to be consumed daily Fig contains Vitamin A, B1, B2, calcium, phosphorous, manganese, sodium and potassium. Almonds are power packed nutrients which should be consumed daily. It contains healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium and protein. It lowers cholesterol, blood sugar and reduces blood pressure.
Ingredients:
- 2 figs
- 1 banana
- 4 almonds
- 200 ml cold milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
- a few drops of vanilla essence
- ice cubes
Method:
- Blanch the almonds.
- Keep the fruits in the freezer for sometime.
- Blend all ingredients together except ice cubes.
- Serve in a glass along with ice cubes.
Fab Milkshake
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2 figs
- 4 almonds
- 250 ml cold milk
- 1 tsp sugar
- few drops vanilla essence
- ice cubes
Instructions
- Soak the almonds in water for sometime.
- Cut the fruits and put them in the freezer for sometime.
- Peel the skin of the almonds, blend all ingredients together except ice cubes.
- Pour it in two glasses, put some ice cubes and serve.
